This was a remarkable journey as any 48x40 inch HAED canvas must be. I worked on it in 3 inch square sections and it took around 10 months. The shading, especially in her dress, was remarkable. Also remarkable was that there is almost no 310 (black) involved in this canvas, nor actually that much white.
And I'm going to leave those three "remarkable"'s in my review! Almost everything is confetti. I used some square rhinestones in the dots in her dress and a few in her sash etc. You have to be careful with special drills in a HAED canvas as the rendering here depends on wonderful shading which special drills often disrupt. I have four large Marta Dahlig canvases (also finished Moths in the same size) and I really appreciate Michele's bringing such a wonderful opportunity to us. (Marta's signature, in the above image, is not rendered in the canvas).
