Schempp, Joanne

Born in NE Ohio, USA, Joanne Schempp is the youngest of 6 children. Showing an advanced talent for art at a very young age, she was enrolled in Cleveland's Museum of Art's specially gifted classes. Having this background in classical art she attended the avant garde Cooper school of Art and developed a kindred heart toward fantasy. She honed her talent at Cleveland State University and graduated with a four-year degree in Arts.

As a full-time artist, her medium of choice is Watercolor. Her colorful works have been published in children's books, magazines and commercial merchandise. Her art has also been sought after around the world by private art collectors.
