This was my first HAED stitching experience and I loved every stitch! This design was so colorful and beautiful, and I really enjoyed working on it. It was a great "beginner" design because without the background you can just focus on the subject of the Mom and baby turtle with out the fuss of stitching a background. I chose a hand dyed fabric background and it helped bring this design to life. I will definitely stitch more HAEDs in the future since I had such a wonderful experience making this piece!
