Parker, Ed

New England born Ed Parker combines a respect for history and great American traditions. His unique inventiveness has placed him among the leaders of today’s generation of Americana painters. His illustrations have an original way of capturing the complexity of modern culture with a sometimes compelling, often whimsical sense of tradition.
Ed’s illustrations have a romantic simplicity, and a refined naiveté, that capture the best parts of every moment.
Ed received his BFA in graphic design from the Massachusetts College of Art and an MFA in painting and illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He served as Art Director of Boston Magazine and at several advertising agencies before starting Ed Parker Studio.
Ed Parker’s art can be found on licensed products as diverse as: embroidery kits, tiles, flags, puzzles and greeting cards. Ed’s work is licensed by Persistence of Vision, LLC.
