Moon, Ora

Faery’s are all around us! Some are quite visible, others harder to see! I am trying to create images of their world(s) through my fantasy artwork. I believe in Faery! With each painting I render, I hope to bring back to the world the forgotten places that lay betwixt and between.

I am a self-employed, independent artist. I enjoy painting fantasy-scapes in watercolor that primarily feature Faery! I don't remember a time when I didn't have a pencil in my hand, spending countless hours rendering anything from people, and animals to landscapes, but always with a Celtic, mythical and/or other-worldly twist. I’ve worked with pencils, charcoal, pastels, inks, acrylics, watercolors, and even coffee!

I started painting on paper only a few years ago with water based acrylics, this in part was due to the paint I had at the time for my airbrushing projects. Gradually I found that watercolors where my medium of choice. I generally use heat pressed paper and keep the average size to about 12”x15” or so.

I’ve always loved to do counted thread work, bead work and the like. I know how challenging these projects can be and I hope you will enjoy stitching these fantastic designs.
