Ashl Evans Art Ashley Speranzella-Evans or Ash Evans is a 26 year old free-lance fantasy artist. She currently lives just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. In 2006 Ashley began marketing her artwork full time through her own company, Phoenixx Fire Studios. She currently runs it with her husband, Johnnie Evans, and together they market and sell her work at various sites and conventions.
Ash works primarily with oil paint, though she enjoys other mediums such as: acrylic, colored pencil, watercolor, pastels, sculpture, and photography. Her main passion is fantasy art, especially dragons and unicorns. She accepts free-lance works on a limited basis, such as, custom paintings, animal portraits and illustrations.
Over the past ten years, Ash has studied music and art in the United States and Europe. She held her first solo fantasy art show in the spring of 2005. Ash has a few licensing deals and is always open to expand with new items and projects. Her work has also been published through Artwanted.com, and is featured in their 2006 and 2007 calendars. During the spring of 2006, Ash started her first convention circuit, which was a huge success. She also plans on making more appearances and licensing her work to more companies. Early next year she plans on releasing her first art book.
Ash’s inspiration for her work comes from a life long love of animals, and working with her local animal hospital and rescue agencies. Her goal is to someday be a widely published fantasy artist and to make the world a more magical place.
